THIS day was a long time coming!! We had to reschedule three different times. She missed her first surgery date due to croup. We had to then wait a month. Then she cut open her eye brow the day before her second surgery date. Finally on February 6, success! Brooklyn was in glasses for several months before we decided that they were not helping with correcting her crossed eyes. The Doctor felt that surgery was her best option. We are now a few months post op and her eyes are perfect! She is still in glasses to help with here vision. Her balance has been SO much better! NO head bonks!!
Check in time was 8 am. She did awesome with all the different people talking to her. We had no problem handing her over to the anaesthesiologist. In fact, she went willingly. They were looking for the non existent barking puppy.

She was a little sad when she woke up after surgery. After I held her in my arms for about a half hour they discharged us and we were headed home.
Holden got to go skiing with Grandma Carol on this morning. Pictures to come.
We got some lunch and Brooklyn took a long nap. That night she was a little loopy. She was running crazy, trying to smell her toes and tipping over, and singing. I caught her in the sink with both hers and Holden's tooth brush cleaning her teeth. Her face was a little swollen, but not as bad as I would have thought. Overall, she was a little cranky, but happy!

Day 2. After her nap she was back to her regular self. The red in her eyes went away by day 3.
