Picking a Pumpkin

On Saturday we took Holden (and Brooklyn) to Black Island Farms to pick out a pumpkin. We had no idea that there would be a large play yard too. We ended up spending a couple of hours at the farm and we all had a great time. Brooklyn slept through the entire thing and Holden LOVED every second of it.

This is the first pumpkin that Holden saw. He was so excited.

Holden saw some other kids dancing and jumping around on the stage, so he wanted to play too. Russell got a super cute video of him, but I cant get it to upload.

Holden loved seeing the animals. He was making all the animal sounds when he saw them.

This goose was honking at us and Holden was so curious. He would try and walk away and then the goose would honk again and he would go back and look at it and talk back to it. So funny.

After the animals we found the slides. This one was a big plastic sheet over hay bails. It was bumpy and FUN!

This slide was called the grain shoot. It was our favorite.

Holden had lots of fun in the corn sandbox. He was so curious about it, but didn't really want to touch it. He would bend down and look at then stand back up. When I picked some up to show him he brushed it off my hands.

We had to go on the little tractor ride twice. When I set him out of the car after the first ride he freaked out, so we went again. He freaked out when we got out the second time too, but there was a line of kids waiting to go so we had to get off.
